Oli London claims “Transracial is a thing. I invented it! If you can be transgender you can be Transracial.””

Oli London is a superfan of BTS who underwent plastic surgeries to look like Park Jimin of BTS. After attempting surgery his appearances grew his online presence on numerous reality television shows. He was born on January 14, 1990, in England, U.K. He is an English media personality, influencer, Youtuber, singer, and model. Oli London has a huge following on Instagram and TikTok, with 109k and 111k followers, respectively.

Oli London’s Career

He started his career as a Youtuber in 2018. After he went viral on youtube, he appeared on Hooked On The Look. It quickly went viral, and his channel received explosive growth. Then he moved to Los Angeles and appeared on Dr Phill which made him more viral and famous. Using his newfound fame, he debuted as a singer on 3 February 2019, with the release of the single Perfection. He is also known as a so-called “k-pop” singer based in London under Oli London Entertainment. His single Perfection received 1.9 million views and he released more songs Butterfly, Heart of Korea, and Mirror Mirror. Alongside Perfection, these songs have received 6 Million YouTube views. Although he has achieved fans and many followers, he has also attracted numerous criticisms mainly focusing on the fact that he was white, but trying to become Asian.

Oli London:- Why surgeries and controversy?

Oli London is a non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them, released a video on YouTube in which they said they underwent “racial transitional surgery” because they identified “as Korean”. Hence, as of his gender, he himself identifies as a Non-binary gender.
Oli London has undergone 18 surgeries, including a brow lift, temple lift and eye surgery to look like the K-pop star. After surgeries, London said they were now “feeling really good and beautiful for the first time” after being very unhappy with who they were deep down for the last eight years. They also posted a rainbow version of the Korean flag to Twitter, tweeting that was their “new official flag for being a non-binary person who identifies as Korean”.
But critics accused him that London“making fun of all the non-binary umbrella, the neo pronouns and the entire LGBTQIA + community”. Some critics also have accused them of cultural appropriation. He also gets murder threats for doing surgeries to look like a Jimin and Korean.
