Early Life & Education

Aastha Raut was born on April 30, 1990, in Dolakha District, Nepal. currently, she lives in Kathmandu, Mid Baneshwor. She spent her childhood with her musical family. Her father Hari Bahadur Raut is a Lok singer and her mother Sabitri Raut is a teacher and lyricist. She completed her primary school education at her home town Dolakha District, Nepal. After completing her school education there, she moved to Kathmandu for her higher studies and received a bachelor’s degree from CG Manipal Campion College.

Career

She started singing at a very early age since her family background is all musical. she got the full support of her parents for her singing career. She participated in different child singing competition. Her first commercial hit song is a remix song ‘Saal ko pat tapari’ song of her Addiction 2 album. From that, she rose from the ground level to the high profile. Another song “Jhumke Bulaki” also nominated her for the “Tuborg Image award” and fortunately she even won the title. Raut’s debut album is Aadhar in which her mother’s written songs are also included.
