Pradeep Khadka is a Nepali actor, model, and filmmaker. He is best known for his role in Prem Geet. It was reported that Pradeep was chosen for his role in Prem Geet through an open audition. Prior to joining the movie industry, Pradeep was a student of marketing and ran a non-government organization. He also owns a production house called Pradeep Media Pvt.Ltd.

Pradeep started his career in 2011 as a filmmaker and actor. However, only rose in fame after his movie Prem Geet was released. After the success of Prem Geet 1 and 2, Pradeep will also be starring in Prem Geet 3. For the latest movie, he will be joining the gym/training for 6 months. We can’t wait to see his new avatar.

Early life & Education

Born on 10th March 1991 in Kusunti of Lalitpur, Kathmandu from parents Tek Bahadur Khadka and Sharada Khadka, Pradeep totally belongs to non-filmy family background.

After completing his schooling from one of the private boarding schools of Kathmandu, Pradeep joined Prasadi Academy from where he completed his 10+2 in management. Knowing the importance of education, Pradeep continued his education till he finally earned an MBA degree in marketing from Lord Buddha Education Foundation, a Kathmandu based college affiliated to Manipal University, India.

Movie Career

Since his childhood, Pradeep was fond of acting and movies. To try his luck in acting, in 2011 Pradeep registered his own media house called Pradeep Media Pvt. Ltd. and produced his first movie ‘Escape’ featuring himself as an actor. The movie flopped and Pradeep lost about Rs 3.5 million.

Then in 2013, Pradeep produced his other movie ‘Thulo Mache’. Although he did not act in this movie he was happy to put himself behind the camera. This movie too failed to get back its investment.

In 2015, the Prem Geet team was looking for a fresh face. Pradeep auditioned for the role and got selected. Once released, Prem Geet became a huge success in the box office and Pradeep became a star overnight. After the success of Prem Geet, the team decided to make a sequel to Prem Geet, namely Prem Geet 2. Again, Pradeep acted as a lead actor in Prem Geet 2. This sequel also became a blockbuster movie.

Pradeep’s Lily Bily released in 2018 and made another back to back success. Pradeep Khadka, Priyanka Karki, and Jassita Gurung featured movie has made an average gross collection.

His latest movie is ROSE where he shared the screen with Miruna Magar and Paramita RL Rana. Pradeep Khadka is pairing up with Jassita Gurung once again in Love Station.
