Early Life, Education, Family

Suhana Thapa was born in Kathmandu on May 8, 1999. She is the single child of most famous Nepali actress Jharana Thapa and producer Sunil Kumar Thapa. Her mother is an evergreen actress of the Nepali movie industry. She has spent her childhood time in Kathmandu. Being a daughter of a movie producer and an actress, she has grown up in a filmy environment.

As her education, she lived in a hostel during her schooling in Kathmandu. After finishing her SLC, she went to India for intermediate level education and she moved to the USA for her higher education in marketing. She is also interested in psychology and taking a psychology class.

According to her mother, Jharana Thapa—actor-turned-director, Suhana is a funny, talkative and troublesome girl. Her maternal uncle called her ‘Monkey.’

She lamented that she could hardly give time to Suhana. “Since her childhood, she stayed in a hostel. She later went to the USA for graduation. So, she rarely spent time with her parents, especially with her mother,” Jharana said.

Career

Talking of her career, Suhana Thapa started her career after returning to her birthland Nepal. As her father is a producer she entered into the Nepali film industry as a producer rather than an actress. She produced “A Mero Hajur 2” directed by her mother Jharana Thapa which was loved by the public a lot. However, she begins her actress career with her debut movie “A Mero Hajur 3” along with youth star Anmol KC in 2019. But as of the information, her first movie was A Mero Hajur when she was very young. She also took an acting class for the movie “A Mero Hajur 3”. On top of that, she shared the screen with hot actor Anmol KC in her very first movie which their on-screen chemistry was loved by all people.

Most might believe ‘A Mero Hajur -3’ is Suhana’s first movie as an actor. But, it’s not. She stepped into the Nepali movie fraternity as a child artist in ‘A Mero Hajur’ back in 2002. “Yes, ‘A Mero Hajur was my first movie, but I hardly remember it since I was very young,” Suhana reminisced. The movie “A Mero Hajur” which featured Jharana Thapa and Sri Krishna Shrestha were hit at that time.

Suhana Thapa is a beautiful actress who is in her relationship with herself as of now. She thinks that she is still not ready for being in a relationship. She looking for someone who can understand her very well, care for her, respect her feelings and her family who haven’t appeared in her life to date.
