Barsha Siwakoti was born on 6 April 1993 at Biratnagar, Nepal. She moved to Kathmandu at an early age. She spent her entire childhood in Kathmandu. She did her Schooling from Asian Public School, Anamnagar and her +2 from the Himalayan white house, Kathmandu. She pursued BBA from Apex College, Baneswor, Kathmandu.

Career 

She participated in the Mr & Miss College Competition in 2012 and won the Miss Talent award. During the competition, her talent was noticed by Nepali Choreographer Pratima Shrestha and was later recommended for a movie. Barsha Siwakoti’s modeling and acting career began with a role in the super hit Nepali movie ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’. She did appear in her second movie ‘Pashupati Prasad’. She rose to fame from her second movie “Pashupati Prasad” which was one of the Superhit Nepali Movies. Similarly, she also did the movie ‘Bir Bikram’,‘Lappan Chhappan’ and ‘Karkhana’. Later on, she moved on to modeling Nepali music videos. She appeared in many popular Nepali videos. She got the nomination for the Best Music Video Model in the 2017 edition of Music Khabar Music Award.
