3D/360° picture post

3D/360° picture post is a hidden feature of Facebook. Like the dark mode on Messanger, this feature is also hidden and need to activate. 3D/360° post is currently running on a beta test version. To activate this feature first you have to like the Facebook 360° page.

How to Make a Facebook 3D photo in Android?

Unfortunately, the 3D post isn’t supported by Android version of facebook but you can activate 360°  picture post. After liking the Facebook 360° page you need to close the app and you have to clean your background running apps. Once you clean your background running apps you can now have access to the facebook’s hidden 360° post.

 

  1. Launch the Facebook app from your Home screen.
  2. Tap What’s on your mind? to post a status.
  3. Tap Add to your post at the bottom of your screen.
  4. Tap 360 Photo. You might have to scroll for a second before you see it.
  5. Take a 360° Photo.
  6. Tap Next when the image has finished rendering.
  7.  Share your 360 post

This works only with the official app you need to have the latest version of facebook app and doesn’t support on the lite version of Facebook.

How to Make a Facebook 3D photo in IOS?

Before going to these steps you need have iPhone 7s or above. Steps are the same to activate the 3D post. 

  1. Launch the Facebook app from your Home screen.
  2. Tap What’s on your mind? to post a status.
  3. Tap Add to your post at the bottom of your screen.
  4. Tap 3D Photo. You might have to scroll for a second before you see it.
  5. Tap the Portrait Mode Photo you would like to turn into a 3D image. It might take a second for the 3D image to process.
  6. Tap Next when the image has finished rendering.
  7. Share your 3D post.
