Early life and Education

 

Indira Joshi was born on 18th July 1990 in Pharasi Bazar, Nawalparasi district of the Lumbini Zone. Born in the mid-class family. She is the daughter of Jan Hari Prasad Joshi and Alaknanda Joshi. She spent most of her childhood in her home town Nawalparashi. She has finished her schooling from Saipatri Higher Secondary School, Nawalparashi and finished her high school from People’s Campus, Kathmandu. After that, she has completed a bachelor’s degree in Shanker Dev campus for BBS and later joined Golden Gate International for her Masters.

Indira’s childhood was full of passion for music, since childhood, she used to participate in local singing and dancing competition. she loved singing since her early childhood days. In Kathmandu, She joined a music school called “Doremi Sangeet Pathshala”. She grew into the musical world after her participation in Nepali trending show Nepali Tara. Unfortunately, she could not make up for the trophy. From Nepali Tara, she got new opportunities and became a playback singer of many Nepali movies. She released a solo album ‘Dance with me’. She has given hit songs such as Udhreko Choli, Rato Ghagara, Relimai, Motorcycle Ma, Behuli, Boyfriend, etc.

She makes her earning from stage performance, guest appearance, brand endorsements, playback singing in movies, and releasing albums. She has become the brand ambassador of Malaysian Motorbike Dimek while she is also associated with Arihant Travels and Tour.
