Early Life and Education
Rima Bishwokarma was born on 5 August 1989 in Gulariya, Bardiya district Nepal. She is the daughter of Babu Ram Bishwokarma and Bishnu Kumari Bishwokarma. She was from a normal family and a happy family who always supported her. She did her lower secondary education from Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute and finished her SLC at Navaratna Secondary School. Now, she is doing a bachelor’s 3rd year Mass Communication at Pinnacle Academy.
Career
Starting her successful career, she worked as a VJ for Nepal Television and a newscaster for National TV at the age of 12 years. She was the host of the Jada Jadai, Nepalese Program. She has also worked as a reporter where she used to take interviews with many directors and producers. Rima’s singer friend offered her to do modeling for the first time and she accepted the offer. Then her acting career started from the music video Jindagibhar Saath Dinchhu Bhannele by Chris KC. After that music video, she got a positive response.
Reema was highly appreciated in the Nepali music video by Shreya Ghosal’s, Chayechha Basanta which was her second music video. Bishwakarma takes this music video as a turning point in her career. After being recognized, she made an entry in the Nepali movie industry. She debuted in the movie ‘Swor’ as a lead actress in 2011. She did various movies like Visa Girl, Ritu, Baato Muniko Ful 2, and so on. She also works on National Television as News Caster.
Now in the present year, the 2020 world recognized her from the international franchise reality show “Nepal Idol”. She is a co-host of “Nepal Idol” which was highly praised by the Nepali speaking people around the world and has been a host of Nepal Idol since season 1.
