Sajjan Raj Vaidya is a very talented singer, songwriter, composer, producer who is famous all over Nepal. He released his debut single, “Aaja Matra”, in 2014 and rose to prominence after the release of his singles “Hawaijahaj” (2016) and “Chitthi Bhitra” (2018). He was born on 1994, May 23 at Kathmandu Nepal. He is 25 years old who is currently living in U.S.A (New York, San Francisco). He has a unique singing style which rose him all over the country. His recent song is Kuraakaani which was premiered on Nov 11, 2019.
Early Life & Education
Sajjan was born on September 9, 1991, in Kathmandu Nepal. He grew up in Kathmandu and began writing and playing music from a young age. He spent most of her childhood in Kathmandu, Nepal. He completed his schooling education from Aadarsha Vidhya Mandir, Man Bhaban Lalitpur. He started playing live shows in his hometown as a primarily acoustic singer-songwriter, drawing inspiration from artists that he had been introduced to by his family. Sajjan Raj Vaidya was interested in the musical field from his early life. His family environment also musical and every family member loved to listen to the song. Basically, his father used to listen to a song over time. That environment made his musical journey easy.
Vaidhya started his musical journey from cover songs as a YouTuber since the 2000s. He had done many cover songs. His cover songs are popular among Nepali youngsters. Some of his hit cover songs are Leho House, All of Me, One- Ed Sheeran, etc. Then later Vaidya started to sing a song of his own word. Most of his songs become popular in the Nepalese music industry. Vaidya is very much popular in today’s Nepali music industry. He is providing a different taste of music in Nepal. Some of the hit numbers of Vaidya are Hawaijahaj, Chitti Bhitra, Mooskaan, Anauthyo Mutu, etc. Most of his songs are melodious and touchy.

Vaidya has worked at KMPG as a Strategic Investments and Morgan Stanley as a Corporate Tax Officer as an intern and currently, he works at an investment banking company. He started his musical journey as a cover singer, he had done many cover songs that are upload on his official youtube channel. Vaidya’s first major was “Aaja Matra” (2014). His next single, “Hawaijahaj” (2016) was a breakthrough. The music video for the song was produced by Fuzz Factory Productions. He later (re)released “Mooskaan” (2018) and “Anountho Mutu” (2018). On 1 January 2019, Sajjan released a single titled “Hataarindai, Bataasindai”. The screenplay features a straight couple and a gay couple, and the video depicts a gay couple kissing, which is uncommon in Nepali media. Vaidya is one of the very few Nepali artists to represent the LGBTQ community through the video’s release.
