Early Life & Education
Shilpa Maskey was born on 14 April in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. She grew up in the same city where she was born. She has been able to keep a positive attitude towards criticism with an understanding that every criticism comes with greater learning opportunities. She finished her schooling and plus two education form Rai School located in Kathmandu. Later, she moved to London for further study where she studies arts. And, finished her bachelor’s degree from there. She was working and studying in the UK to develop her craft and was getting opportunities to work under some of the big names but she wanted to come back to Nepal.

Shilpa Maskey was camera shy person in her early childhood. She was very interested in dancing. She was lived in London before 2013 and she was not sure about her career. She debuted in the Nepali film industry as a lead from the movie The Break Up opposite Aashirman DS Joshi. Her second Nepali movie was Kagaz Patra opposite Najir Hussain. Her third Nepali movie was Sano Mann alongside Ayushman Joshi.
In 2013, she returned to Nepal from London and started doing modeling. She discovers acting and dancing into herself. She started working with different people. She was an appearance in Hollywood movie Doctor Strange and Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Bollywood movie Gold (2018 film), and Hollywood short movie Shooting an Elephant. She learned to make an influence in her own society and also through the art bringing Nepali culture in the international scene.
