Shristi Shrestha Biography | Nepali Celebrity

Shristi Shrestha is a Miss Nepal 2012, a model and a beautiful actress. She was born on 18 October 1989 in Narayanghat, Chitwan. Shristi completed her schooling from Nepal. After completion of her higher education, she moved to the UK with her parents. She got graduated in B.Sc. Nursing from the UK. Shristi Shrestha is the first Miss Nepal who is able to reach the quarter-finals (20th Place) of the Miss World held in China.

Even though she was born in Nepal She spends most of her time in the UK (London) so she has often been criticized for her weakness in Nepali. She debuted her theatre career with the role of Ophelia in Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”, which ran for a month in the Theatre Village in Kathmandu. The play was organized by the British Council and was directed by Gregory Thomson.

Before coming to the Nepali film industry she features on Hindi song called “Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse (Unplugged)“ from the movie Jackpot(2013). Shristi had also played a model on the Nepali song “Sadhai Sadhai“. Shristi Shrestha begins her journey to the Nepali Film industry from Movie “Gajalu”. Gajalu movie was released on Jun 3rd, 2016 which was commercially successful.
