Early life and Education

Swastima was born on 15 July 1995 in Kathmandu, Nepal. She did her school from Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya from 2004 and passed her SLC from Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya, Sallaghari, Bhaktapur in 2011. She scored 75% in her SLC/SEE board exam. As of now, she has completed a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Thapathali campus. She had very much interested in dancing and acting from the beginning of her childhood. In her family, there are altogether three members. They are, mom, dad, and Swastima. She is the daughter of Tirtha Khadka and Karuna Khadka. She is the only daughter of her parents. She has no siblings.

Career

Her first step towards Entertainment world started with the music video “Baby Kuchi Kuchi” which is a sequel of “Honey Bunny”. Later she started doing short movies and after obtaining good responses from short movies, she joined Nepali Cinema Industry. Sunil Rawal was looking for the new face for his movie Hostel Returns.

She joined the workshop as Sunil Rawal suggested to her. After a workshop, she did the movie Hostel Return which was a hit movie of 2015. This movie made her popular in the Nepalese film industry. After becoming famous she started getting many other movies and she has done dozens of movies as a lead role. Besides acting, she is one of the famous and beautiful models of Nepal.
