Early Life and Education

Barsha Raut was born on December 13, 1993, in Sindhuli district of Nepal. She was born into a middle-class family. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. Being the eldest child of the family, she has two brothers Safal and Kushjal. Her paternal family resides in Koteshwor, Kathmandu.

Raut spent her childhood in birthplace Sindhuli and later moved to Kathmandu. Barsha completed her schoolings from her birthplace and she continued her remaining study in Kathmandu. When it comes to educational qualification, Barsha Raut completed her schooling education (SEE/SLC) at Asian Public School. she went to Himalayan Whitehouse college and finished her intermediate high school (12th). after that, she completed a bachelor’s degree from Apex College, Kathmandu. Barsha was an average student during her school and college days.

On May 22, 2020, actress Barsha Raut told in an interview that she was concerned about the ongoing border dispute between Nepal and India, stating it could make her difficult to face her Indian friends. She said that this is something to be done by the government of Nepal and India and she claimed that the journalists of both countries have been inciting the fight. This statement drew widespread hatred and abuse from the scores of Nepalis. Her controversial words put her up in a difficult spot letting the trollers a chance to troll her on the basis of her words.
