How To Use Spotify In Nepal

Spotify is a Music streaming platform with millions of songs to choose from. The streaming service is free for basic features and subscriptions are required for premium features. Spotify is available for multiple platforms and on most of the devices. Spotify is available in most western countries as well as some parts of Asia and Africa. Unfortunately, Spotify is not available in certain countries like Nepal, here is how you can download and use Spotify in Nepal or any other country you might be from.

Step 1: Download a VPN

You will need an account to use Spotify and if you are accessing the registering site from Nepal, then Spotify doesn’t let you register. To register you will have to download VPN and register from an IP of a different country where Spotify is actually available. For this step, you can use any VPN. We are going to use TunnelBear VPN (Alternatively you can also use any other VPN that allows you to choose another country like ProtonVPN). Download the VPN and connect to a country that has Spotify available. We are going to Connect to the USA for our example.

Step 2: Register a Spotify Account

After connecting to a VPN network, you will have to register a Spotify account. To do this, go to the official Spotify site and click on sign up and click on Get Spotify for free on the next page that appears.

Next, you will have to fill up a form for your account. We suggest that you Do not use the sign up with Facebook since your facebook account will have Nepal as your country and we don’t want them to know that.

After filling up your form, click register then if you have done everything correctly you will have an application downloading. Install the file then you are ready for the next step.

Step 3: Running The Spotify App

Open the Spotify app that you just installed. Remember that you will still need a VPN every time you want to login to the app. If you don’t have a VPN on, then you won’t be able to log in. Also, you will need a VPN for only logging in the app, after that you can just use your normal connection to listen to your favorite song. Sign in on the app using the email and password that you just registered, then you will be able to listen to your favorite song.
