Anushka Shrestha is the winner of Miss Nepal 2019. Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Miss Nepal World 2018 crowned her 23-year-old successor, who hails from Kathmandu and is currently living in Sydney.

Born and brought up in Kathmandu, her home and heart lie in Nepal. Even after working in the financial sector for 2 years her passion brought her to Miss Nepal Competition. She had worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, which is one of the biggest financial institutions in Australia. She is a performance-driven and an action-oriented person. Accountability, humility, empathy, and also perseverance are the key drivers of her life. Her mantra in life is “Big Picture, Small Steps”.
In the Miss World 2019 beauty pageant held in London, England, Shrestha was chosen as one of the twelve semi-finalists.
Though Anushka Shrestha was not shortlisted as one of the finalists, she brought home the title of Beauty With A Purpose. Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Miss Nepal 2018, had also won the title in last year’s Miss World pageant.
Earlier in the competition, Shrestha had secured the top position in the Multimedia category.
The title of Miss World, 2019 has been claimed by Jamaica, followed by France and India as first and second runners-up respectively.
