Career

Niruta Singh was born in India, Darjeeling and also completed her studies from India. She used to very fond of acting, singing, and dancing. After completing her studies, she came to Nepal for films. Her father was a friend of a renowned director Tulsi Ghimire. Tripti Nadakar used to play films of Tulsi Ghimire but after she stopped playing movies he was out of heroin. His movie became lifeless. Then he brought Niruta Singh into the film industry with Dakshina (1993). She had a small role in this film but the audience loved her acting and expressions. She made a movie superhit with her small role.

After coming in a front line with a small lead, Tulsi Ghimire gave her a movie Darpan Chhaya that brought Niruta into the limelight. Her performance received huge appreciation and Darpan Chaya went on to become a huge blockbuster of the Nepali film industry, grossing NRs 70 million in 2001, the highest collection ever for a Nepali film. She made Tulsi Ghimire her godfather. She became one of the most loved Nepali actresses. She has played dozens of Nepali movies and touched the heart of audiences. But she took a break from acting for two years (2008–2010) for giving time to her ‘little hobby’ of interior designing in Mumbai.

Movies

After completing her course of interior design. She did a comeback in Nepali movies but she didn’t get huge success like her older movies. She played many movies but the movies didn’t receive huge appreciation. Then again she went back to India to do interior design. In 2017, Tulsi Ghimire wanted her comeback in Nepali movies by playing in Darpan Chhaya 2 but by her busy schedule, she didn’t get a chance to play in that movie. If she had played in Darpan Chhaya 2 she would get a huge comeback in the Nepal movie industry.

Then in 2019, she did a huge comeback in a movie Captain where she hadn’t a huge role but the audience loved her dance. After dancing in a song of Captain she played as an opposite lead role of Haribansha Acharya in Dal Bhat Tarkari. Now, she is waiting for a chance to play in many movies.

Relationship

Niruta Singh is a single, unmarried woman till now. As of information, she had a love affair with Nepali heroes while she was at the top of her Flim Industry career. But I guess its only a rumor and she is an independent woman.
